This photo was taken Canyon de Chelly National Monument in remote northeast Arizona on May 27, 2012. We are on a tour truck. Approximate three hours later this vehicle had a steering failure and went off the edge of a cliff, overturned and slid upside-down into a ravine. The man on the left in the brown hat and white sweatshirt was killed. Four others were critically injured and flown to Flagstaff Arizona for emergency surgery. I was helicoptered to the top of a 1,000 foot cliff to a waiting ambulance for a 20 mile ride to a local medical facility. Mary and I are still struggling with our injuries from this tragic accident. I’m providing a link below where you can read about this sad event. To get the full story you can review the daily Blog entries for the about following week… http://wp.me/pDCku-4Eh
